Following in the footsteps of the previous 76 batches, this single malt whisky has gone through the maturation process in Oloroso sherry barrels, giving this beloved Speyside whisky a dark chocolate and sticky spice flavor.
A'bunadh means "original" in Gaelic and is a tribute to James Fleming, the founder of Aberlory. A'bunadh is a whisky handcrafted from start to finish, with each batch carefully crafted to ensure the rich and complex flavors of nourishing raisins and homemade fruit cakes. It is bottled in barrel strength to create a strong and full-bodied sherry whiskey.
Handcrafted, whisky tribute work, using the most traditional technology and non-condensing filtration to preserve the original style of whisky. Each batch is carefully hand-brewed and bottled. Deep amber, it combines aromas of various spices, marzipan citrus, orange, black cherry, dried fruit and ginger with dark chocolate to present a multi-layered symphony.
