The Balvenie - 百富 CARIBBEAN CASK Aged 14 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14-year-old single malt whisky is aged for 14 years in traditional oak whiskey barrels and then "finished" in casks where Rum was previously held.

To create the desired aftertaste, malt master David C. Stewart MBE blends his own selection of West Indian rum into American oak barrels.

When he judged the barrels to be ready, the rum was replaced with a 14-year-old spirit and began to use wood for the finishing touches.

The result is a remarkable single malt whisky with a creamy, honeyy flavour of the traditional Pefu with hints of toffee and a hint of fruit for a warm, long, long finish.
